This volume contains illustrations and has over 600 pages. Similar to Clews, William Fowler wrote about his experiences in three different books. Ten Years in Wall Street published in 1870. Inside Life in Wall Street published in 1873. This title was offered in three different bindings. A plain basic hardcover, the Deluxe leather with raised bands on the spine, and a purple color hardcover with fancy gilt work on the spine.Twenty Years In Wall Street published in 1880 with a lower print run. It was available in a green color binding (similar to his first book) and a brown color binding with the same design as the green.

Published by Dustin, Gilman & Co., 1874 First Edition, 2nd printing. Good condition for the age. Solid binding. Name of previous owner inside. 603 pages, 9 inches tall, 6 inches wide, 1.5 inches thick, pages turning yellow, brown cloth, minor wear to boards, dark brown endpapers, otherwise clean and thight. In 1864, Fowler becomes a broker, and in 1871 abandoned that business for literature and journalism.
